Hey guys,

Suzuki ought to be paying you guys and gals a commission from all sales on savages. The advice, comments, and feedback from this list tipped me over the edge in favor of a savage over the vulcan 500, or Honda VLX. I picked up a yellow, 96 model with 5900 miles and a supertrapp exhaust. While I can't comment on the performance enhanceing qualities of the supertrapp(since I've never ridden with the stock exhaust for comparison), I can speak to the increased saftey the loud pipes provide. On several occasions drivers have looked right through me, but hit the brakes in response to the sound emitted from a quick twist on the throttle...confirming, once again the hackneyed saying "loud pipes save lives". Anyhow, I'm going to put two new tires on the bike, and I was considering putting this liquid tire sealer in them. I've never heard of this stuff..I'm not talking about fix-a-flat...it's some kind of stuff that is put into the tire before inflating it by removing the valve stem. Supposedly it will automatically seal any punctures (even to the tube) Has anyone used this stuff before? Does it work? Does it adversely affect wheel balance? If there is already a post addressing this issue please let me know.

Thanks,
LC
